MELT is a mixed-voice choir based in Madurai, and the centre of a wider musical organisation. Our members come from different backgrounds, generations, professions, churches and circumstances. What connects us is the willingness to listen, learn, contribute and create together.
We rehearse regularly, with additional practices when a performance calls for them.
MELT began with a choir. Over time, it is becoming a place where singers, musicians, choirs, educators and institutions can meet, learn, collaborate and grow through music.
Different voices don't need to become the same. They need to discover how they can become harmony.
